DOWNTOWN ITHACA: Surrounded by waterfalls, lakes, and forests, nowhere else in the region can you find such an impressive variety of specialty shops, fine dining and casual restaurants, extraordinary theaters, world-class lodging, and historic architecture as in Ithaca.
In the center of Downtown Ithaca, located only 7 miles from Enfield Manor, you will find the Commons, a unique four-block pedestrian shopping area jam packed with more than 100 independently owned and operated shops and boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, service providers, street vendors, and entertainers.

On Saturdays and Sundays from April through December, anoth
er shopping venue not to be missed, is the Ithaca Farmers Market, a member-run cooperative with more than 160 active members who grow or produce their wares within 30 miles of the Ithaca pavilion. They have three categories of vendors: agriculture, food and artisan, and each business you see at the market has been through an application and jurying process to guarantee quality.

You'll find a full spread at the market with something for everyone —a variety of eat-on-site and take-out entrees, baked goods and beverages to delight every taste, as well as fresh produce, free-range eggs, meat and cheese, specialty foods, and fine art and crafts.

On Saturdays and Sundays from April through December, we are located in a beautiful park on the Cayuga Lake waterfront, selling local products from an award-winning covered pavilion. We also operate three other markets within the City of Ithaca to better serve our neighborhoods. In addition, from January through March our winter market operates out of The Space, Greenstar's event space. We are your year-round destination for local.
